The monthly meeting of township Supervisors was called to order at 1986 Elimsport Rd, Montgomery, PA.  Members present were M. Goetz,  R. Crawford and J. Sear. Also present was secretary Tracy Blaker.

Motion by M. Goetz to approve minutes from February’s meeting; first J. Sear second R. Crawford. Motion carried.

Motion by M. Goetz to approve treasurer’s report as submitted; first John Sear, second R. Crawford.  Motion carried.

Police report – Officer Delp discussed the incidents reported between 02/01/23 and 02/28/23, a total of two calls.  There were no concerns on behalf of the township or the police coverage.

Sewer report –  Chapter 94 has been submitted.  Things are quiet and working as they should.

Old Business 

Roadmaster John Sear will get the information needed regarding the width of cartway on Wise Road.

Best Line has submitted the order for the S66 Bobcat Skid Steer.  We are waiting on the estimate to add a broom.

New Business

Reviewed the three fence proposals and motion was made to move forward with the bid from Kriger Fence for an 8 foot fence behind the recycling area at a cost of $5000.  Fence will protect area properties from debris blowing away from the bins.

Discussed the proposal from Intrada Technologies for new, updated security cameras at the garage, recycling area and municipal office.  More information was requested including a visual of camera placement, additional camera for the basement, and potential proposals from other companies. Motion was tabled until next months meeting.

CTFVD report –No report

WTVFD report – Brett Ulrich stated things are well, was not able to offer printed report.

Planning Commission -Hearings were held at 6:30 and 6:45.  Ordinance 23-01 Principal Solar Energy Systems was adopted. Ordinance 23-02 Supervisors Wages was also adopted.

Shannon Rossman, AICP, Director, was here to discuss the single lot subdivision plan for property owned by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Planning Committee motioned to approve a conditional approval pending several items be presented including: Who at the DOJ will sign off on plans; a topo map, corrections be made to the zoning information on the plans; letters from the Montgomery Water Authority and Gregg Twp regarding water source.

Permits – Approved Grant Eichenlaub Jr- Trailer Demolition at 58 Ikes Drive, Montgomery.

Public Comment – Kirsten Gardner spoke on her experience.  She is running for Magisterial District Judge.
