SEWER REPORT – Maintenance crew checked out an alarm at the Staggert’s Grove pump station and found the old pump was not working properly.  A spare from the treatment plant was installed. Quote for replacement for that spare is $3,100.

*Intrada Technologies is waiting on the rest of the materials to be delivered before they can start the camera project.

*Best Line delivered the new Skid Steer and Broom on Thursday, May 25th.

*Kriger Fencing installed the new fencing at the recycling area on May 25th.

PennDOT has made a decision in order to decrease the crashes at the Turnback and Elimsport location by making the following changes: replacing the existing curve warning signs and 15 MPH speed signs with new signs for increased reflectivity and visibility as well as replacing the double arrow panel with a new sign and installing a large arrow panel (96”x48”) for westbound traffic. They anticipate having them installed by June 9, 2023 weather pending.

*Resolution 23-03 Supplemental Appropriations for the 2023 Budget to spend American Rescue Plan Funds (ARP Funds)

*Request to attend two trainings coming up-PSATS Secretary Summit Monday 6/12/23 in Centre County 9:30-4:00 ($125) and PennDot – Changes with Liquid Fuels Program Guidance-Mandatory to use in order to receive County Aid funds going forward- Thursday 5/25/23 Loyalsock Township 10:30-1:30 (FREE)

-New “No Outlet” signs ordered for Maple Hill Road as requested by resident to deter traffic occasionally driving past the end of the road.

-New Quote for Bobcat Skid Steer with dual strobe lights came in at $50,656.07

-James Fink requesting status on Wise Road issues including requesting shoulders on the turns, Wise Rd Ext sign facing the wrong way, inlet markers should be placed at the back of the inlets, unable to plow past white line making road too narrow to pass cars. Also requesting status on updates at the turnaround.

       

NEW BUSINESS –

-2023 General Fund Budget and Northwest Sewer Budget

-Resolution No. 22-03 regarding tax millage for 2023 Real Estate at .18 mills and Fire at .07 mills

-Appoint Richard Lowe, CPA to complete 2022 Audit

*Resignations of township auditors-Shirley Ott and Martha Gaskin.

*Resignation of township Sewage Enforcement Officer James Sanders.  Dennis Shoemaker has   agreed to become Brady Township SEO and retain the alternate SEO Ken Young.

*Discussion- purchase of new Bobcat Skid Steer Loader ($50,455.75) from Best Line due to age and condition of current one.  Delivery would not be until after March of 2023.

*Discussion-Supervisor compensation- possibility of changing supervisor compensation from a set “per meeting” to a set monthly salary. Would not be effective until the beginning of the next term of each supervisor.

*Clinton Township funds request towards powerloader purchase.  (We paid $2200 in 2007 towards the last one)

*Dept. of Public Safety still has not received a response from Digger regarding the naming of it’s road. They stated they will continue to reach out to them. (as of 9/6/22)

*RESOLUTION N0. 22-01– Timber Run ARC Access Road Project approval of $1,000,000 in ARC Local Access Road funding. Resolution of delegating signature authority is required by PennDOT in order to authorize electronic access with PennDot. Kickoff meeting was held on August 30th to discuss project development and anticipated schedule.
